Day 01:  Kathmandu

Arrival in Katmandu, meet assistance ofINDIA TOURS SERVICES at the airport and transfer to hotel. After Fresh up visit Soyambunath and Boudhanth stupa. Overnight at hotel.

The Kathmandu(CapitalCity): Situated at an altitude of 4500ft and founded in the 8th Century A.D. the valley of Kathmandu is composed of three royal Cities, Kathmandu, Patan & Bhadgaon. The valley surrounded by tiers or green hills topped off by snowcapped peaks covers an area of 218 sq. miles. Kathmandu has always been a renowned center for Buddhism and its art where you will find the stupa of Soyambhunath, Boudhanath and hundreds of temples depicting Buddhist and Hindu theology-complex blending of Hinduism & Buddhism where by legend and reality live side by side.

Soyambunathstupa

The history of the Valley, according to the legends, begins with Swayambhunath, or the self-existent". This is one of the world's most glorious Buddhist Stupa. It is around 2000 years old. The Stupa, which forms the main structure, is made of brick and clay supporting the lofty conical spire capped by a pinnacle of copper gilt. Painted on the four-sides of the spire base are the eyes of Lord Buddha. It is three kilometers west of KathmanduCity, and is situated on a hillock about 77m above the level of the Valley. This hill is a mosaic of small chaityas and pagodas. Swoyambhunath is, perhaps, the best place to observe the religious harmony of Buddhist and Hindu, in Nepal.

It provides an excellent view of the KathmanduValley. This is the one of the UNESCO cultural heritage sites of Nepal.

Boudhanath:

The Stupa of Boudhanath lies eight kilometers east of Kathmandu. This colossal and ancient Stupa, one of the biggest in the world, features all the eyes of Lord Buddha. It has become the focal point of Tibetan Buddhism. Lichchhavi king Kana Dev built it in the fifth century AD. It is built on an octagonal base, inset in the design of Mandala with prayer wheels. This is the one of the UNESCO cultural heritage sites of Nepal.

Day 02:  Kathmandu– Chitwan National Park

Wake up early in the morning, after an early breakfast, drive to Chitwan National Park approx. 7hrs. Check into hotel for lunch and after lunch our experience jungle naturalist will be met and briefing will be given about the jungle in the evening enjoy Tradition Tharu cultural shows which includes Stick and cultural dances. Dinner and Overnight at lodge.

Day 03:  Chitwan National Park

Wake up early, breakfast 7am, after b/fast drive by Jeep about 10mts for Elephant embark plat from for an Elephant ride for 1 or 1.30hrs, duringride one horn Rhino and other jungle animal can be seen. After ride drive back to hotel and rest for a while and then walk about 5mts to Elephant bath side to watch Elephant bathing, back to hotel and rest for a while, after lunch canoeing ride on Rapti River about half an hour then walk couple of minutes through jungle to Elephant Breeding center and museum. You will be picking up by Jeep or ox cart to the hotel. In the evening sunset tour at the edge of Rapti river. Overnight at lodge.

Day 04:   Chitwan to Pokhara

Wake up in the morning around, afterbreakfast we start our journey to beautiful town "Pokhara" about 6-7 hrs. In the evening explore beautiful Fewa lake side. Dinner and Overnight at hotel.

Day 05:  Pokhara Sarangkot

Wake up early in the morning and drive to Sarangkot to view beautiful Sunrise over Annapurna ranges. After sunrise drive back to Pokhara for Breakfast, After B/Fast proceed to visit World peace pagoda, Devisfalls and Tibetan Camp. After sightseeing visit Fewa lake for an hour boating. In the after evening free and easy day. overnight at hotel.

Phewa Lake:Pokhara

Phewa Lake for an hour boating on Phewa Lake, the second largest lake in the Country, is the center of all attraction in Pokhara. It is the largest and most enchanting of the three lakes that add to the resplendence of Pokhara. Here, one can sail or row a hired boat across to the water or visit the island temple in its middle. The eastern shore, popularly known as lakeside or Baidam, is the favorite home base for travelers and is where most of the hotels, restaurants and handicraft shops are located.

BarahiTemple

Barahi Temple Pokhara, built almost in the center of Phewa Lake, this two-storied pagoda is dedicated to the boar manifestation of Ajima, the protector's deity representing the female force Shakti. Devotees can be seen, especially on Saturdays, carrying male animals and fowl across the lake to be sacrificed to the deity.

Devis fall

Locally known as the Patale Chhango (Hell's Fall). Devi's Fall (also known as Devin's and David's) is a lovely waterfall lying about two km south-west of the Pokhara airport on the Siddhartha Highway. Legend has it that a trekker (Devin, David..) was washed away by the Pardi Khola and mysteriously dis appeared down into an underground passage beneath the fall.

Monks at Tibetan Village, Pokhara

Tibetan Village Tashiling in the south and Tashil Palkhel in the north of PokharaValley is the two Tibetan village, which is inhabitant by the Tibetan people who keeps themselves busy by producing and trading woolen carpets and other handicrafts.ln the evening dinner and Overnight at hotel.

Poon Hill Trek 3 days Itinerary

Day 06:   Drive to Nayapul. Trek to Ulleri (2073m/6800ft). 0/n at mountain Lodge.

Meet Himalayan Smile treks trekking crew orientation about trek. From Pokhara one and half hour drive to Nayapul. After you reach Nayapul, you will start your trekking slowly. After 20-minutes walking along the Modi stream, you will reach at Birethanti — a beautiful village that has plenty of tea shops and guest houses. Then follow the left route through the village. Your trek continues heading to Ulleri following the bank of the Burungdi stream. You will climb slightly up to the valley of Hile (1495m/4903ft) and Tikhedhunga (1525m/5002ft). The trail leads steep up to Ulleri (2073m/6800ft) a large beautiful Magar village. Ulleri is stopping point for today. 0/ n at mountain lodge

Day 07:   Trek to Ghorepani. Explore around Ghorepani. 0/n at mountain Lodge.

After breakfast you start your walking. Today the trail leads you to the Ghorepani, one of the popular destinations of Annapurna region situated at an altitude of 2856m/9368ft. You should gently ascend up to Banthanti (2250m/7380ft) through Oak and rhododendron forest. Then continue trek towards Ghorepani through Nangeythanti (2460m/8068ft). Today you will walk approximately 5 hours. 0/ n at mountain lodge

Day 08:   Early morning climb Poon Hill (3210m/10528ft). Trek back to the Nayapul. Drive to Pokhara.

Early in the morning climb up to Poon Hill (3210m/10528ft) to see the panoramic views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Lamjung Himalayan ranges as well as exciting sunrise view over the Himalayas. After experiencing the great views of Himalayan panorama from Poon Hill, you descend to Ghorepani. After breakfast, continue downhill trek to Nayapul(1170m/3837ft). Trek end. Drive back to Pokhara. Overnight at hotel.

Day 09:   Pokhara -Kathmandu

After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu approx 5-6hrs. Lunch will be served on the way at good restaurant and after lunch continue drive to Nagakot via Kathmandu and Bhaktapur. In the evening sunset tour and overnight at Hotel.

Day 10:   Katmandu-Departure

Wake up early in the morning and transfer to domestic airport for Mt. Flight between 6.30 to 7.30. Check into airlines counter and board on flight for an hour exciting mountain flight.After the scenic flight transfer to hotel for breakfast After breakfast, free for shopping of souvenirs and gifts and transfer to airport for flight to home country with lots of sweet memories of the Nepal trip.
